Meteor shower

I had a dream of a meteor shower,

One fell close and crushed one flower.

My friend picked the rock up to have a quick look,

One look and one sniff is all it took.

It was filled with chocolate mousse,

With my sweet tooth I didn’t need an excuse.

I had a taste of the celestial sweet,

Which was heavenly, an appropriate treat.

It made me see things I’d otherwise miss,

Every single thing in the cosmic abyss.

I aimed my gaze at the darkest sky,

A rainbow of colors way up high.

Who would’ve known that an alien rock,

Would take your eyes on a fantastic walk.
