A tsunami of babies or a baby tsunami?
A baby tsunami would follow its mommy.
Smaller, of course, kiddie pool size,
Rising to the level of a grown-up’s eyes.
Caused not by plates of tectonic force,
But someone jumping in from high up, of course.
A tsunami of babies, on the other hand,
Would emit wailing heard throughout the whole land.
Spinning slowly in the air, rocking them to sleep,
Dissipating on its own when going too deep,
Leaving babies scattered here, maybe even there,
Solving every babyless couple’s worst care.
Spreading their roots and making small towns,
Bringing color, life to dusty grays and browns.
I don’t know which one I would prefer,
Possibly an extra one, a tsunami of fur.
