If I was Zeus with the power of the Zap!
I’d power your house by disrobing my cap.
Let the current flow and fill all devices,
I’d be a power plant with discount prices.
I could work in public, powering phones,
Feeding all the starving iPhone-y clones.
Convenient and easy and perfectly dead,
I’d rather go with scientists to Antarctica instead.
Drilling to the core with unlimited power,
Without any batteries for it to devour.
Finding mysteries under the ice,
A kilometer or two down are the real relics,
Bacteria and lichen, secret psychedelics.
A deep down camp, electrified by me,
An unending expedition: scientist’s glee.
